Management and Instructional Training (MIT) is a section within the Enterprise Learning and Development Department at the National Training Center. Utilizing the systematic approach to training development, we offer courses in the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of training programs. This training is applicable to classroom delivery as well as e-learning and seminar style presentations.

MIT courses are intended for program managers, supervisors, instructors and curriculum developers who, while using the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) system, are tasked with training program development and/or review to ensure it meets work site requirements. Utilization of the ISD system assures best practices and current approaches to training development are being used. An understanding of material in the ISD courses is essential to DOE site participation in the Training Approval Program (TAP).

In addition, MIT now offers courses that are specific to safety culture and human performance improvement for senior leadership and front line managers within the DOE.
